Janssen reports new head-to-head Phase 3 study data show ponesimod superiority versus Aubagio (teriflunomide) 14 mg in adults with relapsing multiple sclerosis

Idorsia Ltd (SIX: IDIA) today informed that the Janssen Pharmaceutical Companies of Johnson & Johnson announced the results from the Phase 3 OPTIMUM study for ponesimod, an investigational selective S1P1 receptor modulator, showing superior efficacy on the primary endpoint and most secondary endpoints compared to Aubagio® (teriflunomide)* 14 mg in adults with relapsing multiple sclerosis (MS).

About the Revenue Sharing Agreement
Idorsia Pharmaceuticals Ltd, J&J and Actelion Pharmaceuticals Ltd have entered into the Revenue Sharing Agreement in respect to ponesimod. Under the terms of the Revenue Sharing Agreement, Idorsia Pharmaceuticals Ltd is entitled to receive quarterly payments of 8% of the net sales of ponesimod products from Actelion Pharmaceuticals Ltd.
